1868 Hayward Earthquake Display
U.S. Geological Survey
An exhibit of photographs showing the damage from the 1868 Hayward earthquake keyed to their map location will be on display at the U.S. Geological Survey Visitor's Center in Building 3 at 345 Middlefield Ave., Menlo Park. The display also has modern day views of the same areas that were damaged in 1868, as well as a modern description of the earthquake.
