East Bay Stories of the 1868 Hayward Fault Earthquake
Richard Schwartz, Historian, Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association
Richard Schwartz will give an illustrated lecture on the Great 1868 Hayward Fault Earthquake. It will include first hand accounts of survivors, little known facts of the quake, what the people learned from the quake, buildings that are still standing that survived the 1868 earthquake.
It will be held in the Hillside CLub in Berkeley, see below.
