Coast Guard Emergency Preparedness Fair

The USGS and 1868 Hayward Earthquake Alliance will participate in the first annual disaster preparedness fair being held at the Coast Guard Island, Alameda. The fair is being held for the 1000 employees who work at the Coast Guard station and their families. Information on the 1868 Hayward earthquake will be presented at the USGS booth as well as in oral presentations given throughout the day.
